It took over a year and a half to plan. Endless secrets and scheming and white lies were told….but in a matter of 7 days, ONE WEEK, we are going for it. We are revealing the secret.

KIDS, WE ARE GOING ON A 8 DAY DISNEY FANTASY CRUISE  AND THEN 2 DAYS IN THE PARK!!!!! 10 DAYS OF MAGIC!!   AHHHHH!

(If you know my kids or see my kids over the next week DON’T tell them please! : P )

We have been asked everyday over the past 2 years when we are going to take them back. It was the most fun they had ever had (compared to Great Wolf Lodge, of course) and they BEG to go on an airplane almost daily!

Well, the morning of March 4th, we are getting up before the sun and driving them to the airport. When they get through the hanger and by the window to our plane, that is when I think we will tell them (especially since our oldest can read and will see FLORIDA on the screen). We hope their screams wont attract too much airport security….but regardless, it is going to be SOOOO worth it!

On our trip we will be visiting more islands than I can remember (Jamaica, Disney’s Private Island, Cozumel, etc) and the excursions for each island will be the cherry on top. WE LOVE these cruises because of the Kids Camp they have on board where the kids can be dropped off and play (babysat) from like 6am till midnight if we wanted to. They can’t leave unless a parent signs them out, we get walkie talkie like phones they use to text us and call us….even if your child just wants to say “hi” or “I love you.” ITS JUST THE BEST!

The kids camp has arts and crafts, songs and dance, popcorn and movies, Disney video games, board games and SO MUCH MORE! We have even gone to pick them up BECAUSE WEEEE missed them and they didn’t want to leave with us! HOW RUDE!!!! lol

The last trip was one of the best trips and memory making moments of our lives as a family. We can’t wait to create more life long memories. To anyone even THINKING whether or not the investment is worth it….don’t think….just book! My Disney Planner Lynn Wolverton made every part of this PAINLESS. I actually don’t think I did anything more than give her payment info, things I wanted in the room from a list of choices and an idea of excursions. She did all the booking of meals…EVEN FOR THE PARK DAYS…and she is just a dream!

I can’t wait to share pictures when we return. But for now, off to pack SECRETLY for two kids who have NO IDEA the magic that is in store!

P.S. Tip: Travel with your kids! They may not remember everything, but you will. They may be undeserving in theory, but take them anyway. Money will come and go….but their age, their memories, these moments….they just go! Here is to unplugged family time where the only guilt I will have is that you all can’t come too!
