This time last year we were gearing up for a 15 hour day in the biting cold of Philadelphia. We had the insane honor of shooting Brian and Erica’s New Years Eve Wedding in the city and every moment was breathtaking. From prep, to the gorgeous ceremony to the fun of running all over the Lowes Hotel battling at least 3 other weddings for a spot to take pictures…the day was NON STOP FUN! One of my favorite parts of this day was shooting knowing that my groom had the best BEST MAN in the world….my husband Michael. Brian and Michael are the OLDEST of friends…more like brothers! Over time I got close to his bride to be Erica and told her that when they time comes, I’d be there for her! I was so excited when they asked. It was the next best honor to Maid of Honor and Best Man in my book. An added bonus to the day was that once the reception started, I got to turn into a guest. I changed out of my work clothes and put on head to toe sequin and danced the night away with my husband, my friends and MY BRIDE AND GROOM. I couldn’t be more thankful that they trusted me with their most special of days. Chris worked double time this day to ensure every moment was captured, even when I traded in my work shoes for heels! The day couldn’t have been the success it was without him. To Brian and Erica….you both looked incredible. You put on the most incredible party. Erica, you slayed in your dress and the most gorgeous bolero and veil. Every detail was on point. I HAD THE BEST TIME freezing on the steps of the art museum, shooting with Rocky and almost getting you on the local news! Brian, you clean up so nice my friend. It was such a pleasure to see you smile all day long and whip your gorgeous wife around a dance floor. I know Mike felt like the luckiest man in the world to stand by your side. Here are just a few from your big day that still make my heart smile and melt all at once! HAPPY NEW YEAR, HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!
