Before the storm clouds rolled in, we caught a bit of the suns last glow. The MacTaggart Family was in town on vacation and celebrating a birthday. Katie and her brother gifted her mother with the gift of custom portraiture for her birthday and we had to make sure their first family portrait in YEARS was not only gorgeous, but FUN!

We met at the Crest Pier in Wildwood Crest, NJ. This is a local spot and a favorite to the locals here. The sun peeked through the dune lined path and just under the pier. Before the fog set in we headed down to the water and made sure to snap a few photos in front of the water. The water appeared to be swallowed whole by a descended cloud, but it made for lovely and vibrant photos.
