The traffic was less than great. It was actually quite horrible. The sun was setting fast and a thick layer of fog and clouds quickly descended upon a scarce beach. I walked the promenade until I saw them. A cute family, party of three, decked out in coordinating colors of navy. After quick hugs and hellos we headed to the beach.

Daddy was the favorite. Us moms of boys know that all too well. So, with daddy consumed by his little one, this adorable little family embraced the hilarity of the moments….the cuteness of the father-son bond, and we got some amazing shots for this family to look back on for years to come! Its funny….families go into sessions thinking they want that ONE perfect image…the one where everything is perfect and everyone is smiling at the camera the way they should be….but I always tend to love the sessions that didn’t go as planned. The natural candidness of a family is beautiful to me and I truly believe that we captured the beauty of this family in a perfect way. Thank you Kim and Chris, I hope you enjoy them as much as I do : )
