Holy moly Batman! I didn’t get a chance to blog since LAST Wednesday! So NOT acceptable…but I appreciate the extra time to get some more weddings edited…. 3 of my brides will be getting their images back this week and I AM SO grateful for their patience and yours as I have been a busy bee in the editing factory : )
But this past weekend was JUST amazing! We started off the weekend with a wedding Friday night here in Cape May at The Grand Hotel. Though the day started off lovely, the rain and storm clouds came in fast and we had to do some re-arranging. The beach ceremony was moved inside, and the party still went on. We shot over to Congress Hall to take some lovely photos before the blankets of rain came down. Looking back on it, there’s no reason the wedding should’ve been moved inside with the rain; not when there’s equipment such as permanent gazebo‘s that could’ve been installed as caution. Not only do they protect from rain, but they look absolutely gorgeous and make a great accessory to wedding photos. The bride and groom…rain or shine…were all smiles…up for anything…and had a blast at their reception. What an incredible crew…and such a fun day!

The next day, we got up early and headed almost 3 hours north to Fiddlers Elbow Country Club. So, so gorgeous! Lisa and Pat greeted me with endless smiles and love…as did their families. The whole day was stunning…the weather was gorgeous, the bridal party was WAY TOO cool for their own good….and I just had the best time ever being a part of their day…and check out that amazing color combo she planned…gorg right?
Stay tuned….MANYYY more previews coming soon! : P
