This weekend was AMAZING! It was the very last weekend I will be OFF until NEXT March! (Well, that is until I book a March 2015 wedding) My two very best girlfriends, Jana and Megan came to visit and we went on an Erin Express Trolley Ride all over town stopping at different celtic bars and embracing all things “GREEN”. We all went to college together and celebrated this “holiday” by attending a local watering hole featuring green beer “dyed miller lite” and quirky shots named something like the “Dirty Leprechaun”. At 21, any holiday that pertained to a bar was exciting….it felt well deserved after having to wait 21 years to participate.

Now, quickly approaching 30…this holiday…though fun and  a few cocktails with friends wearing some silly green garment  I would otherwise never be caught dead in, were had…..it was primarily about the time I got to spend with 2 girls that keep me grounded…humble…thankful…and loved. It is so refreshing to take a few days off…time ‘away from it all’….to remember what is important…to celebrate life with those that celebrate our successes, and will still cradle us in our failures.

I am LUCKY (pun intended) to have these girls in my life….constantly pushing me towards greatness and giving me the permission to enjoy it and share it.

 

Breakfast before saying “see you later”….Boy am I going to miss them…and my boys…well they are just as in love! : )

 

So, from my best friends and I to you….Happy St. Patricks Day…whether you are drinking green milk, green beer or completely avoiding the whole holiday…here is your friendly reminder to TAKE TIME to enjoy your life…your success and CELEBRATE those that support you!
