How has it already been over a year? This couple right here planned the most perfect day….even Style Me Pretty thought so. I remember their consult…I remember Meredith saying the words…”it would be a dream to have my wedding on Style Me Pretty!” Well love, your wish came true in a big way.

But before the feature and the big day, there was a relationship formed that goes beyond photographer-client. Meredith has been a teacher to BOTH of my boys for years before they went to the “big school”. She taught them songs, colors, blocks, changed diapers, potty trained Nick, rocked them to sleep for naps, wiped tears and boogies and fed them snacks. She taught them prayers, coordinated plays and always made me feel like my kids were loved as her own.

Each and every detail of Meredith’s wedding was planned with the same dedication, attention to detail and care. Just you wait to see these details below.

As many of you remember, the evening before their wedding, Meredith landed herself in the hospital with A HORRIBLE case of the stomach flu that was going around school. It was the kind that leaves you dang near lifeless…in capable of standing, severe dehydration, throwing up, fever…the works!!!! She was released from the hospital at 6am the day of her wedding and went home to sleep a bit before we arrive for pictures.

When I walked in, I think I was more of an emotional wreck than she was. She sat there in her prep chair with a glass of water…glowing and all smiles…looking just as gorgeous as ever. She was radiant and calm. The day from there only got better. The love and support the day held was amazing. Shawn was constantly checking on his wife to be and so easy going…”whatever she needs…whatever she wants..”.

I adore these two…they are my family…and forever in my heart. Meredith, I love you. Simple as that. Shawn, thank you for being so amazing and the best dang nuzzler in town. Please come back to see me again..especially when God blesses you with a family of your own. Happy Belated Anniversary to you both!
