One of my most favorite things about being a photographer is getting to meet new people, new families, and become of new stories. New lives. New moments.

I walked towards the Ropp family as they waited decked out in navy by the beaches entrance. They were all smiles. There two boys, Marcus and Ethan (or as I called him, FINN…don’t ask… : P ) took a little bit of convincing, but once bribed with ice cream as a reward for smiles….we were in motion!

We had a short time together, but I left with new friends and ones I hope to see every year. I love to watch my families change and grow. Its so great to see and be the one to capture.

To the Ropp family…I had the very best time. Thanks for being such great sports and I hope you had a wonderful vacation and a great upcoming school year and holiday season!!!
