Finally! A workshop 4 years in the dream stages (what, how and would anyone come)….. 2 years in the do this, do that, indecisive phase (whats on trend, what to get, how to stylize)…then FINALLY 6 MONTHS in the actual planning stage (lets do this, baby!!!!).

Not too long ago my amazing husband built me a kissing booth for some Valentines Day sessions…I was itching to use it again…but in a different way. This whole idea started based around a lemon tree I saw in a TJ Maxx. The warm colors, yellows greens….it was so summery and I immediately knew a Kissing Booth turned lemonade stand was in my future!!! A little touch of pink, gold and sparkles….add a gorgeous couple with TONS of tulle and a cute bowtie to match…and BOOM. The KNP summer workshop was born.

I was so excited to be in the company of so many talented and amazing photographers that came and gave me the opportunity to just MAYBE teach them something they didnt know before. I went into this workshop saying that no matter what, I wanted to help each attendee learn ONE new take away element to photography or their business…I surely hope I accomplished it!

After fighting off the rain, a few glasses of wine at none other than the amazing Hawk Haven winery located here in Cape May, NJ, we got right down to cupcakes and conversation. With round table questions and tears on my part (dang those emotion packed questions and my emotionally impaired self, lol), we talked about everything from pricing, workflow, contracts and more.

A short while later it was up to shoot a table scape I created with the help of some amazing products from the lengthy list of vendors below. We practiced shooting details, how to shoot for vendors, the bride and for editorial feature. Amongst the sea of photographers, I have seen some amazing shots by the workshop attendees.  And while they were busy shooting the table, I was happy to grab a few of THEM : )

From the tables scape we shot details of our bride and groom and walked over to a whole stylized PINK LEMONADE STAND. It was the best feeling to see my vision come to life. From boxes of details shoved in my trunk to set up for a shoot…it was just incredible to see it all come together. I hope you all enjoy these images…there are quite a few. To the amazing attendees….THANK YOU TO THE MOON AND BACK  for your love and support. It was such an honor seeing some of you again and meeting some great new faces. I surely hope to see you again soon! Bobby and Gabi…our wonderful models….I love you both! You ROCKED IT!

Just before the sun was gone and we lost the groom to work….we got to keep the gorgeous Gabi around and practice some bridals….isn’t she gorgeous?

 

 

 

Here is a behind the scenes look into my time with some amazing photographers…more joined us later in the day, but this bunch of photographers quickly became dear friends of mine….cup cakes , wine and photography chat! My idea of a perfect day!
