I am so excited and so honored that Kaitlin asked me to be a guest blogger today and talk about a personal project so close to my heart. In January of this year I started The Bald and Beautiful Project to empower woman with cancer to be themselves and that they are beautiful even though they may have lost physical features that make them feel beautiful.

I was inspired after a friend of mine, Jenna, was diagnosed with Breast Cancer at the age of 28. It was heartbreaking to see her go through this but she remained incredibly strong and had a mission to make sure everyone knew that bald is beautiful!

The Bald and Beautiful Project has photographers located all over the US including Denver, Charlotte, Virginia, Atlanta and Georgia!!! The Bald and Beautiful Project photographers donate their time and talents as well as many studios and makeup artists for boudoir or glamour sessions for cancer patients and survivors.

I am currently seeking more photographers all over the US and across the world to donate their time for these lovely ladies. I am also in need of studio space as well as makeup artists.
