Finally!!! My third promo video has been filmed and today, I am sharing with you. My first promo video set such a high bar and REALLY launched myself and my business as a whole to a very exciting level. It was perfect for showing my brides an inside look on not only how I work as a photographer, but also who I am as a person. I think it really attracted my ideal clients: RADIANT AND SPIRITED BRIDES! (and grooms of course : P )

My second promo video was my wildcard. I knew I wanted to transition into a higher end market and drift further away from “new young photographer” to “established, confident, style defined photographer.” I filmed it on the gorgeous beaches of Santa Barbara and took this promo video as an opportunity to VOICE my style and my intentions in being a couples hired photographer. It was a much softer and vulnerable approach for me and quite the risk.

By the time it was completed along with the purchase of a new website and overhauled brand…I still felt as though the promo video was missing something. As gorgeous as the beaches of Cali were…and as much as I wish I constantly wore designer black lace dresses all the time, the video was missing MY REAL LIFE. Not to mention the most important “PEOPLE” and aspects of my life: My home, kids, and REAL LIFE KNP brides/grooms.

This promo video plays homage to BOTH promo videos, taking a few elements of each. Its softer, mature and sophisticated with that missing touch of REAL LIFE. It features my new home, my kids, husband, and a past KNP Couple. It is shot on the beach I frequent almost everyday in the summer less than 1 mile from my home. We even shot on a dark/overcast day to show that even in filming/real life…weather is unpredictable but beauty can still be achieved. Anyone can shoot on a gorgeous blue sky day…but to find beauty and romance with dark skies and cloudy beaches…now thats a feat! The whole video has a feel of raw/real edit; not overly staged or produced. There aren’t any crazy transitions or added fluff. I wanted it to have a very “unscripted reality TV feel to it” so that people felt like that were truly a FLY ON THE WALL through the wedding process.This includes my insane awkwardness when having to speak ONLY ONE LINE to a camera lens! OY! EVERYTHING that you see in this video ACTUALLY happens for my bride and grooms. Of course I left out some things to keep them a surprise! : P At the end though, you will get to see my new gift for my 2018 couples!!

I know everyone LOVED the first promo video…but I am hoping this video captures a little bit of everything and reflects whom I am as a person, photographer, mother/wife today. I am confident in my business, my environment and my own skin.
