I have waited nearly 30 years for this. 30 YEARS! Swimming with Dolphins has always been on my bucket list. On our family vacation we just took to the Bahamas, I KNEW this was the time to cross it off the list. Now, because my boys are tiny, we couldn’t actually “swim” with them in deep waters and hold on to their fins….this was more of a kiss/meet and greet. We got to pet them, learn about them, and even see them perform some amazing tricks. Our dolphins name was Weetee and he was the leader of the Dolphin Cay at Atlantis. As the most dominate dolphin the resort has, he totally stole the show.

The boys could not be convinced to give him a smooch, but I am so glad they were excited to pet him and give him commands. They are truly magical, fun and loving creatures. If you ever get the chance to “meet and greet” or “swim with them”, DO IT! I promise its worth it! By the way, Happy April Fools….though I am ALWAYS the one to be gullible to others jokes, this year I am sitting this day of pranks out. This girl right here is DISNEXHAUSTED! (Get it? Ha ha…Bueller? lol)
