BIGGER AND BETTER! That was the goal for 2014. In fact, its the goal for every year if we are being honest here.  I FINALLY got the chance to sit down and pick out 3 dates from JUNE, JULY AND AUGUST that I will be offering IN PERSON, one-on-mentoring sessions to those that are truly ready to invest into themselves and their businesses.

EVERYONE knows I pride myself on investing a lot into my own photography education. I have invested in multiple conferences (some on the other side of the country!), tours, workshops, mentoring sessions with the best photographers out there, etc. After this past year or two, I have TRULY discovered not only my brand and whom I am as a photographer, but who I am as a person. Every day I am learning something new. Trying something new. Failing. Trying again. And finding success ON MY TERMS! It is the MOST flattering thing in the world to receive multiple messages a day asking for advice and sharing some of the sweetest compliments about me and my work. This whole journey has been a blessing. Hard work and putting your heart and efforts in the right place….it all PAYS off!

When I started, I was LOST. Actually…whatever is worst than LOST…that was me. I certainly did not get to where I am today without the support of others. As a shoot and share photographer, I have ALWAYS been about building others up so that the industry as a whole can be built up as well. In my mind, there is no room for drama….spiteful competition, or hateful words. I rather see someone else succeed and be inspired at my hand, than feel dejected or unworthy of following a dream they are passionate about.

I love to teach. I love to help. So, having the platform to do both, that is the true blessing that has come out of this career. I have decided to release 2 dates per month for 3 months that is ALL ABOUT YOU!

During a one-on-one mentoring session with me, you can expect to leave with the following:

1. A notepad filled with notes and answers to your questions and a sore hand from writing them all down.

2. A list of “to-do’s”…homework, if you will. Don’t you dare think that once we are done that day I won’t be checking in on you and your progress! Consider it ‘Take-home-homework.”

3. A full belly…whether with coffee, tea, cake pops, or whatever you fancy…lunch or dinner (depending on the time of our session) is on me!

4. An overwhelmed state of self….if you leave with a slight head ache and feeling like you don’t know what to do first from pure motivational energy + excitement…then we had a GREAT DAY!

5. Branding/marketing/social media overhaul. We will be looking at your Website, Blog, Facbeook, Twitter and more. We will talk about how to make your medias cohesive…how to promote yourself and business on those platforms, and talk about some tweaks that will better your business. Sometimes a fresh set of eyes is all you need : )

6. PRETTY PICTURES! We are going out shooting! We are going to practice shooting…and then I am turning the camera on YOU. It’s about time you are treated with some new pictures to use for your marketing and media outlets, don’t you think?!

7. Bonus: We will chat about the business vendors I use in my own workflow to better yours….everything from albums, image delivery, editing, time management software and more! It’s time to get organized and get your life back…and I may have the tips and tricks you need to do so!
