Every summer I get to work with the most gorgeous families inside and out! They are so trusting, so kind and oh so generous with their patience and smiles! I met the Brown family down the sandy beach in Ocean City, NJ. We met at the 14th street pier in the early morning just off of the boardwalk. The sun was rising through a thick layer of fog hanging gently over the waters surface. Only the beach combers were present on the beach and a few morning joggers. We made our way under the pier and started our family session off nice and slow with only the sound of seagulls in the background. The salty air and breeze made for one tired little lady, but I was thrilled that she held off those tears and showed off those chunky little cheeks of hers. I even got a few smiles!!! So sweet!

I loved their outfits and how they incorporated the cutest bucket hat. It makes sessions so much more personal when families include their own styles and trinkets into the shoot. Thank you Brown Family for trusting me with these precious memories this summer. I surely hope to see you again next year and capture how your family grows.
