When I first started in photography, I would not have made it far without the help of those more experienced than I was. I was just getting into wedding photography when another girl asked me to meet her in Maryland and help her second shoot a wedding. I had never met her, the couple and HARDLY knew what I was doing! Yet nonetheless, Adriane asked me along to shoot Danae and Louie’s amazing wedding. It was there I really connected with the bride and groom and had the best time shooting their family and friends.

Years had passed and by the powers of Facebook, we managed to stay in touch ever so briefly. You can imagine my pure sense of shock when I got an inquiry from them asking for a maternity photographer! I WAS FLOORED! I couldn’t believe they remembered me….thought of me…and WANTED me to capture these precious moments.

There is nothing quite like the glow of a mother carrying her first. There is a radiance that can never be duplicated so shooting these type of sessions are near and dear to my heart. Danae did not disappoint. With a huge tulle skirt and cute props in tow, we had one heck of a session here at the Crest Pier in Wildwood Crest, NJ. Though we only had a few brief seconds of glow amongst the cloudy skies, the session was just lovely and truly picture perfect! Enjoy an inside look into a beach maternity session dreams are made of!
