Every once in a while I get the crazy amazing opportunities to shoot somewhere I have never been. Marie and Michael invited me up to Monmouth University for their engagement session and it was a dream start to finish. Against the odds of changed session date, a fast setting sun, a dying cell phone and limited property access…we captured some of the most gorgeous images. I can’t believe kids get to attend college here! What a dream!

We roamed the property, made each other laugh and boosted Michaels confidence in terms of his shoe selection. Marie and I agree that the loafers were on point! : P While shooting, they explained to me that this was where the “steps” scene in Annie was filmed and we EVEN got to sneak in to take a look at them. Right there in front of me…the Annie and Daddy Warbucks scene came to life in my head and may or may not have sun a few lyrics from the song….
