So for those of you that are fans of my Facbeook page and are past brides or future brides…you have heard me speak about Mike. He is my associate photographer and the jelly to my peanut butter. He is so amazingly talented and such a genuinely amazing person and friend.
Well…this past September 15 he married his princess, Mary Kate. She is as sweet as can be and so insanely gorgeous! She is the complete and total mastermind behind this DIY Pinterest wedding. Basically a photographers AND brides dream wedding. No detail was over looked. The skies were blue as can be. I have never seen Mike with such a smile as he had on this day. And this wedding was perfect from start to finish.
Though I wasn’t the photographer for the event, (the real photographers were AMAZING BTW), I could NOT resist snapping some details to remember the day. I couldn’t even believe the gorgeousness of this day.
Mary Kate looked so so pretty. Mike looked so handsome (despite his sock issue…you will see)….but most of all…I am so so happy for them and I wish them nothing more than ALLLL of the happiness in the world. You two deserve it.
Enjoy that honeymoon in Hawaii Mike…..because when you come home…its FALL WEDDING SEASON TIME…and QUITE a few weddings lined up for next year! : P
Cheers you two! I love you both! : P
Mary Kate is an INSANELY talented baker…and Michael…well he is clearly a photographer….so this sign was just toooooo cute for words!
After wondering around cocktail hour “pre-wedding” (just brilliant)….and snapping these detail shots…it was time to sit down for the ceremony to begin. I was too busy actually watching it and crying to snap a lot of images…plus I was in a horrible spot….but I did get a cute few!
And these are when the first of my tears started for the day….after this…they never really stopped. Mary Kates sister was so happy as she fought back tears walking down the aisle before her sister! Ugh
After the wedding, the 2nd cocktail hour started and the bride, Mary Kate, was just glowing! I finally got to hug and congratulate them both!
Check out this HANDMADE “Beer Garden” 4 Keg Tap!!! SO INSANELY AWESOME!
After the second cocktail hour of the day….we headed straight in the reception. Gourmet sandwiches were served, toasts were amazing, and their first dance was gorgeous! Ugh!
After a delicious dinner…the bride and groom escaped for formals….I kinda stalked them and tagged along…HOPING I would get the chance to steal a few portraits! : P
Oh the next picture just kills me….only YOU Mike! How do you forget your socks??! hehehe
Last but not least…well…at least at the point I decided I should start partying and stop shooting this dream Pinterest wedding….I happened to walk in when they were privately cutting the cake. I was too busy laughing as Mary Kate got a little “smashy” with the cake…but I did get them before it got messy and right when Mike did all he could to save the cake. It was delicious! : P
