We knew it would be amazing before we even started. Chris and I arrived in Florida bright and early the day before Michelle and Walker’s wedding. We went from 22 degrees to 78 degrees in the matter of 2 hours. The rehearsal was underway on a grassy veranda over looking the ocean at the Hammock Beach Resort. It was perfection. The light breeze and salty air and glowing sun was the perfect welcome.
The day of the wedding, mother nature had different plans. Instead of bright sun and cloudless skies, a shelf of clouds descended and provided us with the perfect soft, creamy and airy backdrop. I know its not every ones IDEAL weather conditions for the day of the wedding, but in our opinion it was a true gift. This meant we could shoot anywhere and at any time of the day. This was a huge win.
Michelle planned a true “style me pretty” wedding. She had the book to prove it. Soft cream dresses in front of a coral venue. Lavish white drapery and sparkling chandeliers. Gorgeous floral’s and a touch of glam at every turn. I was in heaven and knew this wedding would be one for the books.
Walker and Michelle have a kind of love and respect for each other that seems to be a less frequent sight this day and age. He loves her deeply, sincerely, and whole heartedly. You know all he wants from life is to love her and see her happy. Michelle loves Walker fiercely, without fault and in a truly selfless manor. Together they are the perfect pair. Surrounded by their family from near and far, their wedding day was a pure celebration. Chris and I are so thankful we got to be a part of this day. So without further ado, Michelle and Walker’s fairytale-style-me-pretty-destination-glam wedding : )
