They were everywhere. Swarms. Clouds. Blankets of gnats and other bugs buzzing around us. We met down a very long and narrow road—new and fabulous territory for this Jersey girl being in Maryland and all…..and we met at the cutest little school house. Mary Jane was raving about this building for weeks and said that it held a special place in her heart every time she passed it.

So clearly…we shot there.

Afterwards there were plans. BIG PLANS. Plans to shoot in these local and famous sunflower patches. When we got there…we saw maybe 2 DIEING sunflowers in a field that ran off into the horizon. Lucky for Ms. Mary Jane she came prepared in her cow girl boots and I was rocking my Jersey shore flip flops. Clearly I thought I was still at the beach : (

Well regardless…in between the endless swats….we got some beautiful head shot for Ms. Mary Jane…one of Maryland’s fabulous local photographers. I wish you all the luck in the world in this industry and I am still so incredibly honored and grateful you asked ME to be there to capture these photos/moments. You are gorgeous inside and out girl!
