Everything was “NO PROBLEM MON”.

The weather never fell below 80 degrees. The water was as warm as bath water in parts, and a clear as a crystal. The vegetation on the island was a shade of green and a shade of yellow that made the leaves appear artifical.

The drinks were fruity, the smiles were vast, and the laughs were plenty. With a “Yeah mon” here and an “Oh, Jesus” there….this destination wedding was beyond an amazing experience. It was an honor to stay in a villa provided by Exceptional Villas. Joanna and Jim are FAR more than my 2013 bride and groom, they are truly amazing people and friends. Everyday and evening in between the wedding… my husband, aka second shooter for this wedding, me and the happy couple got to eat meals, together, walk around the resort, and partake in the endless list of activities Jamaica provided us with. We were treated as friends, not hired photographers. Their guest were tooooo much fun and I left feeling as though I had been accepted into one of the coolest families and group of friends anyone could ask for.

Joanna and Jim, you both deserve every happiness in the world. You are 2 of the best people and friends we know. We appreciate you allowing us to share in your special day. Jamaica was beautiful, but the love captured between you both in these images below….now that is STUNNING! Enjoy you two!

 

 

Although the bride didn’t opt for a First Look…the ceremony was simply stunning. It took place in a pavilion that overlooked the ocean. Jim’s face was just adorable when he saw her for the first time : )

After the beautiful ceremony…its was time for some formals. Even with white skies above and misty air…the images came out super airy, light and truly beautiful.

Then finally…I had 10 minutes alone with the bride and groom : )

As the last bit of sunlight lingered….it was time for an epic reception…light by the light of the stars of Ochos Rios alone at the very site of the ceremony! Gorg!

Then after the sun had set…A PARTY…JAMAICAN STYLE…BROKE OUT! : )
