What an evening! After rescheduling 2-3 times due to rain/ less than perfect weather, the day was finally here. Now, although it was clear-ish skies and no rain, it also happened to be one of the HOTTEST days of the summer so far. So much so, I wore a bathing suit UNDER my shooting outfit in hopes that right after, I would find a pool or ocean to jump right into! : )
The session started off with their boxer taking off towards a German Shepard in the park and Phil tucking and rolling down a hill to catch his pups leash. Then, as we left the park we decided to pull off and head towards the marsh. There was an inlet that allowed you to see the Atlantic City skyline in the background, so we had to give it a go. It all sounded great, until I GOT MY HUSBANDS TRUCK STUCK in the mud. Picture my 5’2 self, big black chevy 6ft cab truck….wet marsh, tires spinning, CAR NOT moving! Yup! Luckily my groom was a BOSS and got it unstuck so we could get ON with portraits! And the best part, they were laughing WITH me and for the most part, not ATTTT me : P Thanks for that guys!
Jenna and Phil are way too sweet and absolutely 2 people I wanted to hang out with far beyond our sessions end point. I hope to see them again for a less entertaining and chaotic night out together : ) Hope that cold beer was just as amazing as ever Phil…it was well deserved. Kisses to the pups! And way to be just stunnnnnning Jenna!
