28! Oy! It just sounds so much better to say that I am 25 for the third time.  : )  

Today, as we speak actually, I am sitting in a salon getting my hair touched up as I sip on mimosas. I was woken up by the birthday screams of my little ones and was welcomed to a living room decorated with pink balloons (including a princess balloon), gifts, a cake and even a birthday banner! I am one blessed girl.

Later today I get to pick up my best friend from the train station in Atlantic City and go shopping, out to dinner and spend multiple hours catching up, girly screams, laughs and then repeat! This year I have learned so much about myself….how I want to live my life, how I want to impact others around me….what kind of mark I want to leave on the world. So….in honor of my birthday….here are 28 things I bet you didn’t know about me:

 

1. I HATE PANTY HOSE….I will only wear tights!

2. Spiders TERRIFY me…dragonflies freak me out…and crickets/crows annoy the ever living ‘you know what’ out of me!

3. I LOVE the show ELLEN and REBA….I have never watched an episode and not cried/laughed!

4. I have a need for speed….a lead foot if you will….I have the warnings to prove it! (So much for being married to a cop : P )

5. I bite my nails…its a horrid habit, I know!

6. I could drink half a gallon of milk a day, but go weeks without  ONE SIP of water!

7. I like 20-30 minute showers that are SCOLDING HOT!

8. I prefer GOLD or ROSE GOLD jewelry over silver….but my wedding rings are platinum.

9. I own 42 pairs of heels….I wear only 3 of them….3 times a year!

10. I HATE scary movies….like literally I can’t even watch the Disney Snow White!

11. I loooove fruit…..ONLY when its covered in chocolate!

12. Mexican food is my favorite….I could eat Chipotle everyday if I was allowed.

13. I still sleep with my childhood blanket….don’t judge me!

14. I HATE turtle necks…but I LOVE scarves around my neck 24-7!

15. Michael Kors is my best friend….or I am his sponsor….either way…I love that man and all his beautiful creations!

16. IM NOT A MORNING PERSON…No seriously….DO NOT talk to me before 10am and without me having a cup of coffee first!

17. I can not leave the house without mascara….its my fav type of make up.

18. I used to be an All Star Nationals Cheerleader and would compete all over the east coast…I was the flyer, the one they throw up in the air…I LOVED IT!

19. I am NOT great at taking a compliment….I will either say “oh stop…your crazy….no way….or try to hide in my scarf.” lol

20. If I wasn’t a photographer, I would be a signer or an event planner…..but funny part….I CANT SING! LOL

21. I hate gum….I am a mint girl!

22. I love to write….and read….I wish I had more time for both. But Math and Science….failed miserably.

23. Amusement parks = NOT A FAN! I do like the swings, though! And the food!!!!

24. I am super self-conscious about my teeth….its on the list to get “made over” in the next year or so….but first, I have to get over my paralyzing fear of the dentist!

25. My grandmother is the best person I have ever known…I dont know what I WILL EVER do without her!

26. My husband saved my life once…..and then continues to do it everyday.

27. I am not huge into conflicts, confrontation, etc…..but threaten my kids/family/home….murder is on the table! lol( j/k….sorta)

28. I am deathly afraid of death and all things “funeral home/wakes, etc” I wait in the car…no lie. Yet I went to school, prepped my self to be a lawyer or fall back…crime scene photography!?!?! LOL The irony I know!
