Over a year. That’s how long I had to keep their secret.

Heather and Mark met with me in my local Starbucks and as we sat down to our cup of coffee and began our chat, I noticed a key element; A RING!

Heather went on to tell me their incredible story….which I will share in their wedding blog post, and mentioned that she and Mark are “skipping” their engagement and heading STRAIGHT to the alter! No engagement, no big hoopla…none of the formalities. They simply informed me that they would be eloping and I would be THE ONLY one there with them.

But where was “there”? After a deep breath, the words MAUI, HAWAII left her mouth….and at the same time…I became breathless! Again the only catch is….NO ONE could know her identity and pictures could ONLY be posted after the “I do’s” were said. Well folks, they are officially hitched and their identity has been revealed.

While we were in Hawaii we shot a ton of different session types….airport engagement, boudoir, wedding, and more….so I knew my blog posts from Hawaii needed to be turned into a series. Without further ado, here is just a sneak peek into their 4:30 am Newark Airport “engagement” session. Mind you, this is not normal KNP style…but at 4:30 am with all of us being awake for nearly 24 hours at this point, it being pitch black outside, trying NOT to get caught by TSA/airport officials ANNNND only one camera body and 2 lenses and no flash….I’d say we rocked it!
