I so look forward to Fridays! Its the one day on the blog I can dedicate to writing a bit of my heart and soul…a piece of my story….my life…for all to see. Yes, I realize this may be a vulnerable position to put myself in, but I am firm believer in that you GET what you give back. And what I AM CHOOSING to give, is my honesty. I choose to invite people into my personal life…whether that brings love and encouragement or criticism. So, to address those that comment on this series every Friday with NEGATIVITY, HURTFUL WORDS, AND PROFANITY….Please know I respect WHOLE HEARTEDLY your opinion, and I thank you for taking SO MUCH of your time to not only follow me, look up + read my blog, think about me and my story so intently and then comment on my blog. It sure takes a lot of effort to do so, whether its hateful or not. So thank you : )
Choosing to blog is both a decision for my business and my personal life. I love to write, I love to share, I love to educate, and I love more than ever, to document. So often as photographers we are SO BUSY and focused on capturing others stories, that we dismiss or forget to capture our own. So this blog…this series even, will allow me to look back on this planning series for the #knpvowrenewal in hopes of sharing it with my kids one day…and hopefully documents a few tips and tricks along the way to possibly help others in their own planning stages.
Over the past week I went on an ETSY spree if you will. It wasn’t A HUGE investment each store I visited, but it was small purchases that add to the details of the day. So as the sneak peak for today, I would love to share a few details I bought for he big day and share the Etsy store fronts that will be a part of the day. Enjoy your sneak peak and see you back here next Friday for a sneak peak of my bouquet (hint: its NOT made of flowers AT ALL! : P )
I got this cake topper…but mine says simply “Kailtin and Mike”…..
Would you believe that a bride of mine actually bought this hanger for me? It was so perfect I knew it had to be a part of this day! : )
I had this made too….but it says Always and Forever…it will be displayed at the wedding in the front walkway : )
When everyone arrives, they will fill out a chalkboard label and place it on a mason jar from which they will drink all night…the background has a gold metallic paper behind the scalloped edges : ) They are so cute! And the best part, everyone gets to leave with their personalized mason jar at the end of the night : )
Have a blessed weekend!
