After this session was wrapped, I left the boardwalk with a strange emotion. Jealousy.

I wanted so badly to have pictures like the ones I just captured for myself and my boys. There was no real posing. Just laughter. Love. Fun.

I get such a lovely mixture of families each year; all with their own visions for portraits. Traditional, matchy mtachy, tons of props, and some totally candid.

This session was so easy it was almost as if I was walking around the boardwalk just capturing “street art” in a way. This mother and son combo were so adorable. So in love. And the way Calvin looked at his momma, LITERALLY made me melt inside.

They wanted a session to capture them and how they truly are and truly interact. They wanted fun. Colorful. Smiles.

I think we accomplished that….don’t you?
