There is one post I think I have dreaded to compose over the years, SIMPLY because I am NOT A MASSIVE fan of having my photo taken: THE BEHIND THE SCENES POST! Vain, maybe. But as you will see in the following Behind the Scenes post, I AM TRULY the goober on the inside. Strictly professional Kait falls by the wayside throughout a wedding day. Don’t get me wrong, we still perform at our best of abilities, but you may see below that we have a TON of fun while doing so.

Chris and I use each other on wedding day to test for light, posing, etc…and then sometimes we catch each other in some funny candid moments. As much as I may not be a fan of my self in these pictures, I am a HUGE fan of these moments. These are the times I know I will always look back on an treasure. Memories with my best buddy Chris, memories with my amazing clients, turn family…and memories of a dream I get to live every day. Not everyone gets to work a job that they love and I will never take that for granted.

Mind you, these images are not full color corrected and edited, since these are RAW and candid moments, I figured Id leave them in that form as well. Enjoy seeing just a FEW moments BEHIND the SCENES…I am sure this year there will be plenty more to see!

When the Whip and Nae Nae comes on, you whip and nae!

This couple went through the brides dress ripping in half 15 minutes before ceremony, their trolley getting in an accident on the way to the ceremony (everyone was fine, btw) and one of their tables in the reception catching on fire during cocktail hour…but honestly, it was one of the best days! We call Britt the #trifectabride lol 

When its a costume wedding and all you had last minute was a BEE! So, Im-ma-bee! : P

When your husband is at a wedding you are shooting as a guest and sees you shooting formals with a HOT car…he clearly comes over for a picture with ME!
