My grand-mom replied to my question with, “If you want to be a great leader, you must first learn to be a great follower.” Such a simple answer to a loaded question.

In a industry where leadership is desperately needed and sought after, its only natural to want to be the one that is leading, creating new molds and being looked at as a role model. We all strive to influence and make an impact for the better. Being a leader comes with great responsibility, great honor and many challenges. But truth be told, being a follower, or a “leader in training” as I call it….is no different than being a leader.
