They have to be the most understanding, patient couple in the world considering the event that preluded their session. My lovely, adoring, FORGETFUL husband borrowed my camera out of my camera bag to take a picture of his classic 69 Camaro before my session and ACCIDENTLY forgot to return the camera to my pre-packed camera bag in the car before my shoot. Without checking, I was off to the shoot. 20 minutes away. During an event weekend here at the shore.  I pull out my camera bag after greeting Amy and her handsome 6 foot 9 fiance, Derrick and guess what was NOT in my bag?

If a human could turn a shade of red and green all at one time….I think that those were the shades of my   cheeks. Nauseous, embarrassed, stressed, mortified, nervous, AND CONVINCED these two would want to sooner eat dirt than work with me again. FACE PALM! But without even a flinch,  as I told them my husband will bring it over ASAP…. they said “No problem.” We talked a bit, practiced some poses, scouted some locations…all while my hubby was rapidly en route with my camera. Poor guy had his sleeping bag by the  front door when I got home; knowing he would be sleeping outside for that one! hehehee totally kidding…..but Amy and Derrick were so so understanding …so patient. So insanely kind. It was then I became even more grateful for the types of people my “little business” has brought into my life.

With little time to waste we got right to it, and after all that practice, we were way ahead of the game. : ) We found the most amazing little nooks and crannies in the heart of Cape May point and at The Willow Creek Winey. They effortlessly fell into one another….exuding a kind of love that leaves many green with envy. Amy has the most amazing smile….her entire face lights up. And Derrick…he is so easy going, relaxed and  so in love with his gorgeous fiance. It showed in every photo and with every pose I put them in. I simply can NOT WAIT for their big day…this time I will be checking and RECHECKING my camera bag! : P Thank you guys for everything and I hope you had as much fun as I did! : )
