Its going to be a good day when your bride calls you with a million and one ideas for her shoot….and you already have a list of your own. Everyone thanks me for my creativity in terms of shoots…but to be 100% honest…none of it would be possible without my brides input, willingness to try anything,
and complete faith in me. When Amy mentioned that Kevin was a fisherman…THE FIRST word and idea that came to mind was BOAT! The next idea that came to mind….GET TO THRIFT SHOPPING! In the days leading up to her session I headed to my favorite little thrift store called, North End Thrift. Pete, the owner and I, have a working relationship and I could not be more grateful to that man for letting me wander around his shop with handfuls of the most random objects!
Amy and Kevin are getting married this upcoming November. Their colors will be evident by the time you view the end of this post…but we knew we had to include them in a fun, flirty manner. After two rounds of over sized and popped balloons…magic happened. The whole evening was amazing. Kevin was an insane sport and thank you to Kevin’s buddy for helping with the boat and Kevins sister for helping with the ‘fishermans knot” and being an all around incredible assistant! This is by far one of my most fave e.sessions ever. I CANT TELL YOU HOW MUCH of a difference it makes when brides do the following:
1. Plan their e.session in a location meaningful and beautiful
2. Plan their outfits and colors to match their theme/wedding.
3. Come with props, ideas, visions.
4. COMPLETE trust in your trusty photog! : )
Rings on a fishing reel….check!
HOT!
Fierrrce girl!
Kevin looked sooooo dapper I couldn’t even handle it! A man in suspenders and a bow tie….ugh it just kills me!
So amazing….total Keith Urban look-a-like happening here, right?
Amy…you are totally MEGAN FOX in this image below! WOW!
Then as the sun began to disappear we had time for these two last shots….HOLY PERFECT!
