This weekend FLEW! It literally flew by.
Friday afternoon Chris and I headed to Washington, D.C. for a wee bit of fun and birthday celebrations for my best friend Jana. We had dinner in the city and then went to the Capitals game. It’s been forever since my last professional ice hockey game, but I must say, even from the nose bleed section, it was AMAZING!
Saturday was wedding day and it was A GORGEOUS day for a wedding. Chilly, but beautiful.
Carolyn walked towards me in her bridal robe and greeted me with a tight hug. I missed her terribly. I couldn’t wait for the first look, knowing I too, would get to see Pat again. The last time I saw them we were knee deep in hay bales and corn mazes during their engagement session. They even topped off the session by purchasing me an apply pie from the local berry farm. They are just the sweetest.
This wedding went from sweet and fun to one of the BEST parties ever. The dance floor was PACKED all night long! PACKED! Kudos to the D.J. for keeping everyone moving and CHEERS to my amazing bride and groom that planned the most perfect day. Below is a sneak peek into some of the portraits we captured on Saturday. Can’t wait to blog them all! Congrats Mr and Mrs. C!
And to Jeremy and Ashley Mitchell of WE ARE THE MITCHELLS…..It was such an insane honor shooting beside you as you captured, what I am most sure, is an incredible video. I just adore you both to pieces, cant wait for the high light video!!!!
