Todays blog post is super late….I am so sorry about that! I DO have a great excuse however: This morning was “A Mother’s Day Tea Party” at Nicholas’s school and my mom, grand mom and my husbands mother all joined in the affair. It was A LOVELY morning. After, I took my grams to see Willow Creek…my venue! I also fit in a breif meeting with the coordinator there for Alexa’s big day that will be there tomorrow. Cant wait to shoot that insanely gorgeous day…wait till you all see her DRESS!

But for todays blog post, lets just get right to it. For my first wedding day, I had a dear friend come and play the violin. I presume that it was just the standard wedding march that was played, but again, no real thought and effort went into it. This time…THAT IS NOT the case.

I have it planned to the songs that I will walk down the aisle towards Mike, walk back down the aisle WITH Mike….and all the songs throughout cocktail hour.

Today I wanted to share the songs that I will walk down the aisle to and back down the aisle once our vows are renewed. Ready?

Song 1: Lana del Rey “Young and Beautiful” Violin Instrumental (Click on the image below to watch/hear exactly what I am talking about. I knew this was it when every time I hear it I get goosebumps and cry! lol)

 

 

After our vows are renewed, its time to party….and celebrate. So I wanted that song to reflect that…so again we chose an instrumental version of “Happy” by Pharrell Williams. obviously just the chorus of the song : P (Click the image below to see/hear what I am talking about : P )

 

 

For the remainder of cocktail hour I have requested a mix between 80s songs and country love songs….how fun and different right!?!? I told her nothing stiff, too fancy or uptight. We are here to party…dance…get down…and celebrate our love. In fact… PAST 8:00pm….NOT ONE slow song will be played. Not one. Shoes will come off, lights will go down and the party will be underway.
