While at UNITED 2013 in Santa Barbara, California….we were given the opportunity to take part in different shoots and classes to better our crafts. There were classes for photographers that shot weddings, families, boudoir, seniors and glamour. Though I am strictly Weddings and Families…I really wanted to use my time out there to experience and experiment with all types of photography…hoping that maybe I could learn a few things here and there I can apply to my craft. Well by golly…I was right! I took Ashley Fisher’s class in Glamour photography and it realllly excited me to shoot my brides in some model-esque kind of ways. No model lights and studio backdrops…just gorgeous women in gorgeous dresses in naturally beautiful locations. I am so thankful for this opportunity to hone in on new skills that will better assist me in directly my brides during their bridal sessions. If you are ever given the opportunity to test your craft in different fields of your industry, I without a doubt…RECOMMEND it!
Here are a few shots I was able to grab in the sea of photographers lined up for this class…awesome thing..the models…are actually photographers…talented ones at that. Thank you Megan and Cassandra for ROCKING it out at this shoot…you both are gorg on the inside and out!
STUNNING!
Megan you have the most gorg smile ever!
Should be on the cover of VOGUE Cassandra!
What an awesome group of photographers all coming together to hone in on their crafts…love!
Thank you so much Ashley Fisher—this was an awesome class! I am so glad no one fell in the pool! : P
