I know, I know. MOREEEE posts from UNITED 2014! And to be perfectly honest…sharing this post doesn’t even put me at the HALF WAY mark of posts related to UNITED yet. But, spacing them out a bit makes me enjoy writing them and reflecting on all I learned out there even more. What an insanely blessed week of my life. My brain left in overdrive and I couldn’t wait to get home…edit images, share them and then….put all I learned into practice! The lessons I learned this VERY INSANELY early morning with the fabulous Montana Dennis as an instructor, have already been put into action at my most recent engagement session I will be sharing next week.

Now, no matter how hard I tried….I could not figure out how to bottle up Cali light and bring it home! It was just too insanely gorgeous to be bottled I guess! So even though I can not recreate that same light here in New Jersey…I can take what I learned about authentic and organic posing…letting a couple be just that….a couple. A unique and in LOVE couple with minimal direction.

Montana found the most adorable couple, Daniel and Brenea to be our models. It was not the WARMEST of mornings, but they really rocked it out for us at the Grassini Family Vineyard. Thank you for all you taught us this morning and really pushing us to try new things with lights, settings and allowing a couple to generate their own emotional and organic driven poses. You are a true mentor and talent Montana!

My personal favorite…that is TRULY how green the water was….it was incredible!
