When I left for Hawaii, I was so nervous….but mostly excited….for a million and one reasons. One of those reasons was that 2 days into my trip, I would be meeting my second shooter for the week. Brooke is a photographer from Utah…and AN AMAZING ONE AT THAT! Before this trip, we had never ACTUALLY met in person, but we became FAST friends online after she had signed up for one of my online mentoring sessions. The more I followed this girl…the more I felt like I KNEW HER. One of incredibly rare and amazing moments in life where you know that without a doubt….this person was MEANT to be a part of your life.I can not express to you…or to her….how GLAD I am that I asked her to accompany me on this trip. I knew I’d like her….but I didn’t count on loving her! She is a true blue kind of gal that makes me SUPER jealous of the girls in her life that have been around for the long haul. Always a smile…a scrunched nose to go along with it….and an infectious laugh that follows her quick wit. If you do NOT know of her…or her work…PLEASE do yourself a favor and follow her. She is just incredible and I can only hope to shoot with her AT MINIMUM once a year!On our trip, Natalie Franke of Natalie Franke Photography messaged me letting me know that SHE TOO was in Hawaii. Not only had I never been there….but all of a sudden I knew at least 4 photographers there! We were invited to meet up for some pretty picture taking and dinner. Brooke and I took turns wearing my brides GORGEOUS tulle skirt from Space 46 and took some shots of each other. I can not wait to see what Natalie and Caitlin (Another amazing photographer we both met for the first time that was there traveling with Natalie) came up with when Brooke and I got in front of the lens together!!!
