Today, I struggle to find the words. The words to type. The words to speak. The words to form comprehensive thoughts. I can tell you where I was. What I was doing. What I was holding. I know, because I dropped it. I will never forget that call from my husband. The one that alerted me of the events that unfolded at Newtown’s Sandy Hook Elementary School on December 14, 2012.
Immediate tears. An overpowering sense of grief and emotional strain I have never experienced before came over me. I was heartbroken to the core….in the deep depths of my soul. Heartbroken for the little angels taken too soon, the ones that died trying to protect them, the parents and siblings and families of the victims, and of course, the first responders!
This post will NEVER feature the name of the devil that did this…..but it will feature the names of the angels that now look over us in heaven. Here are their names and their birthdays. After each name you read, please take a moment to send up a prayer…they need to hear our voices!

A prayer for everyone on this 1 year anniversary of one of the most tragic events I have ever lived to see:
Thank you Bella Bleue for these beautiful words when I couldn’t find the right ones.
Today is Day 12 of my Giveaways and I promised this one would be the BEST kind of gift. So without further ado:
On my and my KNP Families behalf, 26 Twinkling Snowflake Ornaments for each family of each victim, with a prayer and note attached, has been shipped to Newtown’s First Selectman, Pat Llodra. After speaking with her office, they will be handed out individually to each family this Christmas. They will be donated/gifted on behalf of all of you. My fans. My clients, my friends, my family.
THANK YOU ALL FOR GIFTING MEEEE WITH THE ABILITY TO DO THIS. REACH MORE PEOPLE THAN I COULD EVER IMAGINE. FOR GIVING ME A PLATFORM WHERE ALL OF OUR VOICES CAN BE HEARD AS ONE. AS A FAMILY. KNP WOULD BE NOTHING WITHOUT YOU!
This world…this life….its all so very fragile. Most of us may not have or get everything we want this year, but I urge you to place the families of Newtown in your heart…and all those whom have lost their lives due to the evil and hatred of others. Pray for a world filled with love and peace for all. Pray for comfort for those that need it the most. And by golly, THANK GOD for all that you do have and for all of those that love you and you love in return. Hold the ones that mean the most to you close and as OUR family rule states, “NEVER PULL AWAY FROM THE ONE YOU LOVE…Hold on tight for as long as you can!”
Today my family will light a candle and have a moment of silence at 10am. To the families, the victims, the first responders, the heroes and all those affected by this tragedy….may God Bless you and hold you in his arms. I pray for comfort and peace and love, on this day, the 1YEAR anniversary heaven gained 26 angels far too soon!
P.S. To my dear friend, beloved teacher, and once an angel here on Earth taken far too soon, Michele Laffey…I know you are taking great care of those kiddos and God has selected no better a teacher than you. Give those babies a hug from us. We love and miss you! RIP!
