If you don’t know who Katelyn James is….well my loves, you have some homework to do. I have never in my life met such a talented, sweet, open hearted person. She is what most crave to resemble, embody and become. I see many 30 and 40 year olds commenting left and right saying, “I want to be Katelyn when I grow up” and the irony is that they are in fact grown and at leastttt 10 years Katelyn’s senior.The first night at UNITED in Cali…my plane got me in almost 7 hours late. YIKES. So going to bed at 3am Cali time was 6am my time, after getting up 7am my time to fly out there….Yes…that 23 hours awake and traveling. ROUGH! The first full day was Sunday, and this was a jam packed day for me. I woke up, rushed to hair and make up in the hotel spa, got dressed and started filming my new promo video….sneak peaks coming soon! Before the day ended, I met up with Katelyn James for 15 minutes of head shots before we lost the sun. But in my opinion, she capture the sun at its BEST! The rest of the week was not the best in terms of sunsets…due to me bringing the rain and cold from Jersey with me to the west coast…my bad guys.Now before anyone assumes that I just won the lottery by getting Katelyn to be on board with this shoot….there is a BIGGER reason as to why she so graciously captured these images for me and I will be sharing that reason next week!!! (Let the suspense sink in : P)

So with 15 minutes to spare, I was gifted with something far more than BEYOND STUNNING portraits, I was gifted with 15 minutes of alone time with my friend…my mentor…my inspiration, the fabulous Katelyn James.

Katelyn, I will forever cherish these images…you make me feel so insanely gorgeous and you make me LOOK that way too. I swear its all you and your talent that makes the magic. I can’t wait to let everyone in on “our secret” next week….but for now…simply THANK YOU, THANK YOU. I will always be your car painting, toe nail logo rocking, number one fan…I love you for all that you “gave me permission to be” and all that you inspired me to do and serve others with along the way.
