Vegas! Where does one begin when they speak of all things Vegas!?!? I can sum it up in a few adjectives: Magical, fun, crowded, painful, amazing, tiring, awesome sauce, overwhelming, PHEW! lol

Though it was a much needed and well deserved vacation I treated my hubby with for this trip this past fall for his 30th birthday….it wasn’t much of a “relaxing” vacation. IN FACT…the day after we returned, we laid down for a nap at 4pm and woke up at 11pm!!! We were exhausted when we got home. While we were out there we had back to back events on our itinerary….a helicopter ride for 2 over the strip at sunset, an exotic car racing experience, The CSI Experience, a Circus Solei show of “ONE” (Michael Jackson themed….so good I cried btw! ) and that was just half of BEFORE the night life experiences kicked in!

But while we were out there…I KNEW my must do thing was NOT club or bar hoping on the strip…it was getting MUCH NEEDED and updated photos of my husband and I together. All year I encourage my couples to make the time to capture their love as it is now….to capture priceless moments to share with generations to come. We didnt have that. Our wedding pictures are buried at the bottom of a box in the attic….they are THAT bad! I cant even stand to look at them. Before I became a photographer, I was totally in the “pictures don’t matter” Ill remember it for ever boat. WRONG! I dont remember a lot from my wedding day…it flew by…and I have 2 pictures to show for it!

So while out there I reached out to a fellow Showiteer/Photographer named Jodi. And let me tell you….SHE WAS PHENOMENAL! The minute we met her, we were greeted with a hug…a friendly smile…and we were off! She totally left me with happy tears rolling down my cheeks and I left feeling as though I had made a new friend! Before the pictures started, I got an extra special treat working with the hair and make up team for the Kardashians….they were amazing!!! I felt like a whole new woman and kept saying “IS THAT ME!?!?”…I have tried to re create that make up and hair ever since I got home…and let me tell you…they are ALLLLLL epic failures! : P

But I want to take this time to show off what Jodi was able to capture….moments I will never forget…and moments I could never repay her for capturing. Jodi…you made my entire year with these photos and the time spent with you in Vegas are amongst my favorite memories made on this trip. Thank you for all your efforts to make this happen for us….your images are wallpaper in my house! : )
