With steady prayers all week for no rain….as the previous days would have had us think otherwise, Jen and Nino’s engagement session was upon us. It was hotter and brighter than we could have hoped for. My, second shooter, partner and friend Mike Sperlak from Mike Sperlak Photography joined me for the day. He is truly my lighting guru and makes the day an all around pleasant experience for both myself and the couple.

Jen looked outstanding. Make professionally done. Nino–with a “ready as ever” smile on he face, we were off. Off to race against the clock shooting at one of the most EPIC and fun locations my career may ever take me: Citizens Bank Park- Home of the Phillies! We were given precisely one hour to shoot in a location that we easily could have shot over a 4 day span. With a guide in tow, we were granted access to some locations that some Phillies fans could only dream of. We were in the Diamond Club, we were in the lockers, we were in and on top of the dugout. We were on the field. We were in the 1st row seats. Life was great and we had a fantastic time while trying to soak it all in as well.

 

After having some fun at Citizens Bank Park, we were off to yet another location that I fear, the word EPIC…doesn’t even begin to live up to. I was excited more than ever to walk in the front gates of the MAGIC GARDEN on South Street in Philly. The entire location was breath taking. A mosaic graveyard if you will. Art at its finest. Most purest and raw form. Colors and textures everywhere. With an hour time limit upon us again, we quickly tried to cover every inch of the place.

I think these two locations were merely a compliment to the love these two have for each other. Jen and Nino are effortlessly in love and 100% each others biggest fan. Their love for the phillies, their love for each other, and the love I got to capture with Mike was priceless.

I can’t even wait to capture their every candid and special moment when they say “i do” on November 30, 2012. Following a beautiful church ceremony in Philly….we are headed back to Citizens Bank Park for one, excuse my french here, HELLLLLL of a reception. Stay tuned Phillies fans. Stay tuned KNP fans. Stay tuned friends and family of Jen and Nino. 11/30/12 IS SURELY one date that will go down in KNP history as one of the most amazing and epic days ever. : )
