Just about a year ago I participated in a life altering. Mind boggling. Heart fulfilling dream of mine. I got to attend a one-on-one coaching session with Katelyn James. If you follow me, or her….you have already seen me talk of her epicness….if not…go check her out. The last time I went to see Katelyn I did a blog post that showed off an entire suitcase filled with shoe options, I painted my car with her name and logo, and even admitted that I may tackle her or pee my pants when I saw her.

 

Today I am getting ready to venture off to her neck of the woods for a reunion dinner with her, her husband, her adorable pup and about 20-30 of her other coaching girls! SO FUN! We are all our own little family. A family of photographers all starting out from no where. All following our hearts and dreams to not only meet our idol, but actually attempt at making it in this very challenging and competitive industry.

I considered my self truly blessed when I had the opportunity to meet Katelyn the first time….dumb founded when I got to see her again at United…and now….FLABBERGASTED I get to see her again for dinner! I am one lucky girl that is following her dreams with everything I have…and one blessed girl to have people like Katelyn pushing me and telling me to go even further than I ever imagined!
