When I think of Mother’s Day, I think of gifting mom with something that will make her smile. Make her feel special. Make her relaxed. Something she can and will enjoy for a long time. Then it hit me…what if we could combine all of those gift ideas into one?

Mommy and Me Mini Sessions and Make Overs!

This event was amazing. It was hosted at Total Image Salon in Wildwood, NJ. They graciously allowed me and my team to take over the whole salon on Sunday and decorate with pink balloons, lay out pink treats everywhere and invite 4 lovely families (sets of moms and their daughters) in for this event. Marcella and her assistant Trish were so kind to be there for airbrush make up, while Mary Nastasi was there creating some gorgeous hair styles. The vendors, location and event was just wonderful! I can only hope these moms and daughters had as much fun as I did! I can’t wait for next year. Take a look at what we spent Sunday doing…trust me, its adorbs!

After getting all kinds of pretty at Total Image Salon, we headed down to the beach to have our mini photo shoots. With the hot pink couch and chair in tow, we had everything set up and the sessions began. With no help from the wind, we were semi limited in shooting locations, but nothing stopped these moms and daughters from completely rocking it out in front of the camera. Look how gorgeous they are!

Up next was Ginny and pretty much the cutest little model in the making! From the moment it was her turn to get all dolled up, she was all smiles! She and mom wore matching dresses and were simply the most adorable girls together. Look for yourself. 

This next family is beautiful in everyday. Beth is a breast cancer survivor and has two of the most fun and loving daughters I have ever met. Kasey, her eldest, planned this whole thing for mom before she has to head out to California for school. This was a beautiful way to celebrate their last mothers day with her living at home and to spend time with her adorable little sister who was a die hard Hunger Games fan. Last but not least, I had the honor of shooting one of my second shooters daughters, Bailey. She is nothing short of gorgeous. I am so glad she was willing to come out and get all beautified for pictures for her mother for Mothers Day.  Take a look at her gorgeous eyes!
