This Historic Cold Spring Village Family Session was a personal favorite of mine. Drew Eckert, this little angels daddy just graduated the police academy and was home for less than 24 hours before this session took place. He was reunited with his gorgeous wife and baby girl just before she is about to turn 1 years old. Sydney is the sweetest of sweet! She clapped and smiled all the way through the session. She may have lost her shoe a few times, but she was just the best little girl ever! Ashley contacted me with such excitement for this session. She couldn’t wait to get a few photos of her little girl and reunited family.
They came with balloons in tow and smiles ready! Sunrise sessions are quickly becoming my favorite in Cape May, NJ. Not only does it force me out of bed a bit earlier than I normally would be up, it allows me time to capture young ones at their best…which is usually the morning hours. The light is soft and pretty and the humidity was low. It was a perfect morning in the Village.
Cold Spring Village will always be one of my favorite places to shoot. It has the most gorgeous scenery in the background, perfect about of shade from the summer sun and so much gorgeous greenery. To the Eckert Family, thank you so much for trusting me with these memories, this milestone and so much more. I really, really adore you guys and I wish you, Drew, a long, healthy, happy and safe career. To my sweet friends and their gorgeous daughter…enjoy!
