This family is near and dear to my heart. Jana is my true blue and one of my most bestest friends. I clearly understand that that is not a real word….but when it comes to Jana….it totally is. We went to college together and have been through a lot of hard things life has had to offer us. One of her older brothers recently got married and had a beautiful baby girl names Caris. She is truly beautiful and such a delight. She has enough energy to power the entire nation as well. So jealous!

Their family and I got to get together at Seneca Creek Park in Montgomery County, MD  and capture some truly candid and precious shots. With an epic chair in tow…Caris wanted NOTHING to do with it. She was on a mission to walk over every inch of the park and leave us chasing behind. This session was also to celebrate her 1st birthday!!! Of course we brought out the balloons and the cake and let her have at. Take a look and see : )
