This was a wedding FILLED with tears, laughs and “OMG’S”. Today we joke about how Brittany and Steve are going to be the luckiest married couple ever because they had a TRIFECTA of things go wrong on wedding day. 10 minutes before we had to get her over to the chapel to get married, Brittany’s dress RIPPED IN HALF! We rushed to the back room of the church and she stood there wrapped in a towel as her maids and friends fixed her dress and sewed her back into it. She didn’t cry, scream or faint. SHE WAS CALM and cool…I was in awe.

On the way to the ceremony, the trolley was pulling into the ceremony and got into an ACCIDENT. They scratched and BENT the massive trolley and took a major chunk out of a vital telephone pole and I believe made the lights FLICKER within the church. Good news though, everyone was fine. The trolley was a bit broken and we are not sure of the drivers employment as of now. lol

They had the most gorgeous ceremony filled with joy, smiles and tears. They closed with a gorgeous confetti exit and away we went ready to laugh off the mornings disasters and dance the night away. As they entered cocktail hour and we shot details, we turned around as we searched for where the smell of burning plastic was coming from…and poof….a table in her reception was ON FIRE! The candles were too close to the silk floral centerpieces and as a saving grace, the water goblets were filled so I THREW THEM at the fire and it went out! For those that knew, we kept it from the happy couple for a bit…but of course when they found out…they still smiled through it. They danced and laughed, climbed on the DJs speakers and looked more in love than ever. Brittany and Steve, you two truly are the luckiest of couples….but not just because of your trifecta wedding day disasters…but because you two have each other…and we love you guys to pieces. Thank you for letting us be a part of this “perfect” day!
