If you have ever built a house….or at least started the process, and you are ANYTHING like me, the actual building and planning stages are the WORST! They are literally breaking my down…piece by piece. Every permit, every signature on some formal document, every meeting with a new contractor, bank person or city official…all of it is chipping away at my soul. The waiting is WORSE than child birth and a root canal all at once. The snags, the road blocks, the red tape….BLAH!

On days I feel myself slipping into a Negative Nancy state of mind multiplied by the rage of 100 men, I revert to my safe and happy zone: Decorating. Though I am by NO MEANS a decorator, I do know how to operate Pinterest and these days it is ALL I CAN DO to keep sane. Its a form of visual planning, dreaming or as my husband calls it; scheming. lol (hide the MasterCard!)

I am so excited to have a very rustic glam motif in my VERY FIRST and VERY OWN office. Consults and business meetings will FINALLY be held here. I’m going to have some cubicles in there so that I can work alongside my peers sometimes, which will be such a PRIVILEGE! I will even have my own EXIT DOOR on the side of the house so clients/peers do not have to walk through a house that my torpedo children run – any stay at home/small business-owning mom knows what I mean here. I have packed up my home office (Visit teacrate.co.uk if you are moving offices by the way, their plastic crates make packing so easy) and am SO READY to move into my new office building.
