Have you ever heard the expression, “He/She just pulled a Beyonce’!!!”?

If not, let me enlighten you on just exactly WHAT that means.

In 2013, Queen B herself did something unheard of and shocked/ surprised her fans and peers when she dropped her 5th solo album titled ‘Beyonce’ out of NO WHERE. There was no build up. No promotion. No hype leading up to it. It was simply something she wanted to put out there WITHOUT all of what usually goes into an album release. Here is what Beyonce said in regards to why she did so:

“I didn’t want to release my music the way I’ve done it, I am bored with that. I feel like I am able to speak directly to my fans. There’s so much that gets between the music, the artist and the fans. I felt like I didn’t want anybody to give the message when my record is coming out. I just want this to come out when it’s ready and from me to my fans.”- Vulture.Com

So, as you may notice, things around KNP may look a WEE bit different. Yes, the brand is still the same, but it was time to release a site based on the the personal changes I have gone through over the past 2 years. So, without any hype…build up…giveaways …or attention seeking pleas, I released something personal for not ONLY my clients/fans….but for MYSELF!

It is clean, classic, classy, sophisticated, rustic chic (MUCH like my own vow renewal this past year) and most importantly, a truly EXCLUSIVE design to my and my brand as a whole. I still can not believe how effortless this process, in terms of not wavering back and forth like I have so many years in the past. It was simply the glass slipper of website for me. The perfect fit.

I pulled a Beyonce’!

When I FULLY rebranded in February of 2013, it was a HUGE step forward. It was wildly different than anything I had released before and it was FINALLY  a brand I could be proud of and truly identify with. That brand has served me well and still does. I knew that over the past 2 years I have learned a lot….grew a lot….changed a lot. I think its only nature as we grow, changes are on its coat tails. We find ourselves in a transition: a limbo of whom we will always be at the core, and where we are headed in our futures.

My brand refresh is simply that; my transition. As a newly 27 year old in 2013, I was still desperately holding onto anything that reminded me of my early 20’s. (Glitter, pink ANYTHING, sparkles and BOLD/FLASHY elements) Now, as I am a few months away from 30, in a different place in my personal and professional life….a REFRESH was needed. A virtual face lift, if you will : )

This new brand speaks to a more mature side of KNP. It is not a way of me screaming to the world that I am ‘so over pink and glitter’ (I am not sure that obsession will ever FULLY die) but it IS my way of screaming that it IT OK to grow within yourself and your business and alongside of your clients and fans.
