It was a wet one! Literally, I think my shoes are still damp as they sit on the porch attempting to dry. The frizziness of my hair has slowly dissipated, but my love for this couple and weddings has not! No, it was not the typical KNP wedding you see which is beach bound, light, bright and airy. It was located up at the gorgeous estate of Normandy Farms. The red and white stripped buildings were so beautiful, even while hidden under blankets of rain.
I spoke with my bride Cameo that morning expecting her to be crushed that it was less than perfect outside, and I got quite the opposite. Her first text was, I got a cute umbrella and rain boots and we are ready for anything! She was prepared ahead of time! She was excited no matter what, and she was so insanely positive! It just made me more excited for the day!
We were kept inside for most of the day, hoping and praying for the rain to stop long enough for even 10 minutes of portraits outside. And by God’s grace he gave us nearly 30 minutes of zero rain, useable light!
This whole day was filled with so much love! So much trust, both in me and in the fate of the day. Their love, her parents love, its one to be envied! Cameo and Dan, thank you so much for your “roll with the punches and go with it” positive attitude. You both looked amazing and this was a TRULY fun weddings! Stay tuned for your full wedding blog soon!
