It’s not very often that I have a gentleman contact me in regards to photos. Usually its the bride, mother, or grandmother contacting me. So, when I got the email from Derrick that he wanted to surprise his wife Sheronda with a photo session with me for their 8 year anniversary, my heart just melted!

He was so set on keeping it a surprise. On making sure he and his wife picked out the most perfect outfit and spot. Our original day for the shoot was rained out and it made for three very sad people. However, the day we rescheduled it for turned out to be beyond perfect. They looked great, and the sunset was unbelievable.

I am always so very nervous to shoot other photographers….but meeting them was like reconnecting with long lost friends. I can not wait until I get to see them again. For now, enjoy a sneak peak from their amazing “Beloved/Anniversary” shoot in the ever lovely Cape May!
