Um, ok so its noon here and the blog is just going up. But I can explain.

I shot a double header wedding weekend, both with 10-12 hours or coverage 2 hours north. I spent the night in Neptune, NJ after my Toms River wedding, then shot up in Sea Girt the next day. Then THAT night, drove home and didn’t get in till 1am. Sunday was breakfast with Santa and family fun day at the Winter land fest at Congress Hall. Once home….dinner, cleaned house, school day prep, KNP work till 1am….ahhhh. I love being on the go and I wouldn’t dare complain about spending the day with my kids, but this mama-photog needed a nap. SO…my amazing husband…in light of this being my birthday week and all, let me do something I haven’t done since COLLEGE; I SLEPT IN TILL THE CLOCK READ 12:00!!! EEEEK. I woke up feeling refreshed but ohhhhh soo guilty. So, in efforts to get work done, todays blog post sill be short and sweet featuring images from this weekends weddings and at the bottom, the entry for todays 12 days of give aways DAY 6!!!!

Kristen and Mikey celebrated their day at the Versailles Ballroom in Toms River, NJ. The venue was dressed head to toe in Christmas decor and there was twinkling lights everywhere. This was the FIRST wedding I ever shot where we did not take ONE picture outside. With an evening ceremony and late night reception, the party went late in to the night and the dance floor was packed. Mikey is in the army and just recently returned from a tour. Now he is home as a reservist and preparing to start a family with Kristen THIS March! Congrats you two, your day was lovely!
